I have a spare f.h carb i run gas only and i just bought an ez bore adjustable reamer and i have a 18mm ball hone and i want to try to follow the jimmy glenn carb article.not worried about rules i wanna tweak it to the max with gas.can i just open it up to around .695 and do all the work on the throttle shaft area.and avoid all the drilling for methanol??? Hoping for the best this first try..thanks for any and all help....AND WHAT IS THE BEST MATERIAL FOR CUTTING A BUTTERFLY..

.040" aluminum or brass for the butterfly. 4-40 button head cap screw.

You will need to enlarge the fuel metering holes to match the increased air flow.
I ream them to the same sizes for alcohol as gas, then control the amount through the jet.
.026" & .059" will get you close enough. .038" jet (depending on the rest of the build - cam, pipe, ignition timing, etc.)
