got a problem need a answer think I stripped the end of the crankshaft

okay guys I need a question answer I was trying to pull the a abearing off the end of the crankshaft and using a pullerand think I crush the threads on the end of the crankshaft what tap do I use to fix the theards it is a 5.5 honda power washer engine
 
Is it a straight shaft 3/4" or 20mm in dia, or is it a tapered shaft?

3/4" or 19.05mm 5/16*24UNF
20mm M8*1.25
Tapered 5/16*24UNF
 
you could probably chamfer the end of the crank deeper. then chase the threads with a clean tap. a sharp chamfer!

And I forgot to ask if it is a GX160 or a GC160, the GC is more common on household pressure washers.
