Y Yakattack Member Mar 5, 2016 #5 On a stock class engine some like the ounce or two lighter rotating assembly from removing it. It does help in throwing oil around a bit... Either way it makes no noticeable difference...

W W5R New member Mar 7, 2016 #6 Look where the governor gear is then look where the oil hole is just to the right of it, in the block. Now think about that...that gear helps get oil up to the top end to lubricate the valvetrain in my opinion, best to leave it
