grinding stock rockers bsp clone

You will take a bit off the nose of the rocker. Or you could purchase 10/12 rockers and check different ones and sometimes you get lucky. One nice thing about the clone motor they are cheap to build.

Grinding off material would never gain you lift, you only do this to reduce lift when it is out of spec/over legal limit. But yes, many of us grind or file the tip when needed.

Oh but it will, material removed under nose of contact area will result in gained lift. In effect, you set the lifter closer to the valve tip on bottom of raised nose, when lifted rotates to uncut, thicker portion of raised nose, results in increased lift. I know, not explained well, better terminology would help

you stand more of a chance of gaining lift after grinding the front side of the rocker to reduce left if you grind on a rocker that is the rounded type instead of the flat tip type.this is particularly true if you run a pre-loaded valve setting because what it does as Time rolls on it begins to roll the material on that rocker forward there for gaining left. Not as much of a problem if you grind on the flat tip rocker
