GX 200 peek torque rpm

Hi, As the title says wondering where a gx 200 makes it's peek torque. We are running a max torque clutch with a green spring looking at maybe trying to go to the black spring which they say is around 2900-3200 engagement. Wondering if that is going to be to high for a stock ungoverned GX200.

Without a dyno readout, it's hard to say. Here's something you might try.

Put a bathroom scale between the front of your kart and a strong wall. With the driver in the seat, warm the engine up a little then floor it. It only takes a second or two to get a reading on the scale. Put the stronger Springs in and do it again. A higher scale reading means the higher engagement RPM is better.

3200-3300 engagement will be right for your engine.
