I have a Honda gx 620 that I just replaced all the gaskets, coils, plugs, carb, and fuel pump on I got it all put back together and it will not run now I’ve checked to make sure I have spark by holding the plugs close to a ground and I also know that fuel is getting to the plugs because they were a little wet I was able to get it to run like **** for about 40 seconds with some carb cleaner after a few backfires out of the intake I also checked to make sure the timing marks were correct on the cam shat and crank gears while the case was split any suggestions? all advice is appreciated

Is it a twin ? Switch the ignion leads . Not all but some engine are idividual fire . Ie no lost spark on the exahust stroke .
Either swap the spark wires if they are long enough or the trigger wires .

Yeah there is only one way for the flywheel to go on with the key but I noticed that when I turn it over it sucks from the exhaust even though I aligned the timing marks is there a certain way you have to put the push rods back in on the v twins?
