Hand start

No girdle needed, Pull start would be difficult. I have built many flatheads with 126 cams never tried to pull start one though! Dyno Cams might???? build one with a compression release????

Girdle may not be necessary (on the engine at least) -- but pull start will require one for the person starting it! :)

Don't even try it -- Get yourself an electric starter and save pulled muscles, hernia, etc.

That one made me laugh Brian!

Is the girdle only needed for the stroker ? What if it’s a small cam? By any chance do you guys know anybody who has a couple billet fin fly wheels ? And what rod and piston do I need for a raptor .400 .300 stroker crank? I’m guessing that’s what I have . Thank you
