Just go super stock and get rid of the tank

My gas cap is level with the surface the carb mounts to. This tank pictured the cap is lower. Compare it to mine.

This tank is like mine. It holds 12 more ounces of fuel meaning 12 more ounces past the middle line. The cap is higher in the air. After about 6 laps all the fuel is pushed towards the gas cap from inertia. If you fill it to high the fuel will cover the fuel cap cutting of the air and it vapor locks. This tank helps with that problem simply because the cap is higher in the air. Not all tech men know. Happy caps work most of the time.

Also if you drill a small hole into the left screw that holds the carb down it will let it get air. Not legal.

yeah i get the level of the fuel cap i saw that and would be a dead giveaway to anyone who knew.

Is this tank off a pull choke carb/engine ?

Is this tank off a pull choke carb/engine ?

I am not really sure where I got it what it came off of. I am guessing pull choke though.
