Head to piston clearance

Building a hemi predator was wondering what the piston and head clearance with the longer Arc rod

With a billet rod I would tend to use .030 you could probably tighten it up a bit but that piston will rock in the bore a bit so I like to play safe not sorry.

I would not worry to much about piston to head clearence. Look hard at valve to piston clearance.

Just running a .020 over rod and cl3 cam should have no valve clearance issues just wondering how tight of clearance piston to head some builders are saying .020 over rod with a .010 gasket is plenty of clearance

Need to check how much your piston is above or below deck. Then choose a head gasket to achieve .030 clearance.
