heavy wet racetracks

What would you guys do if you're looking to go to a heavy wet racetrack without a lot of time left. planning on being in the 50 ish degree mark and expecting small amount of rain. what kind of tire and what to wipe and possibly what changed to the go kart

We’ve had good success with black bite
Typically start with an old, cured out, harder tire, & pan roll with black bite until around 42-45

Then we’ll hit them with the sander between races & wipe black bite from that point on

If the track is what I consider wet heavy add in CREO mix .

Typical burn in goat and the a goat/creo mix as a PRW.
Not my preference, but it certainly does work.

If you have time, work the tires softer with your internal (Pink Panther) and get them the rest of the way down with a softener on the outside (Monster Bite.) Maxxis really need softened internally to get them as soft as you would want for a track like this. Now, if it's a big momentum track, you may want to limit how much you break the sidewalls down with internal because it will kill roll speed.
Wipe them every time you go to the grid (Monster Bite can be wet on the grid.)

The colder and wetter the track, the lower you can go on duro.
