Helmet Restraint Hardware Question

I recently picked up one of these helmet restraint straps/anti-fatigue straps to try out but it only came with the strap and d-ring but no hardware. My helmet has a pre-drilled hole for neck restraint systems but it looks like I need some type of nut and bolt combo. Anyone know where I can get the correct hardware or have one for sale?

What side of helmet does d ring for helmet restraint go on? LEFT side?

Where is ideal place to position D ring?

It goes on the left side of your helmet, about even with the middle of your shoulder. Approx 3/4" up like in the picture posted in the above link.
Most of the time you won't wear it. My kids only wear theirs at certain tracks.

We use rivets 3/16" steel with big head, aluminum rivets will rip out.

There are times I forget to put my arm in it. I always regret it. Having it on eliminates a lot of head movement and stress.
