Help with Burris 33a

Kart handles terrible with a Burris 33a. Kart seems to not like Burris tires. Put a set of Pink/blue maxxis and the kart is a rocket ship. What should to help bring back a Burris 33 and for setup is there anything different!

Were the Burris Prepped ? if so how ? Were the Maxxis prepped if so how ?
with just this info it sounds simple the track had to much bite for your 33's.
 
Kart set-ups shouldn't be different...track conditions that are conducive to these too brands of tires are vastly different.

Burris really like being cut also. Don't know enough about your track and tires, but if the track changes enough (low bite) to make Burris work, then you need to be on a good set of Burris that are worked properly.
