Help with c/c gauge

Have a intercomp caster camber gauge. Just looking for a little help on how to use this tool the correct way.

So I guess what I am looking for is what is the best way to level the kart?( on scale stand?) Is that all that you need to do, or do I need turn tables? How do you define "0"? Etc... Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
Yes its best to have kart on scale stand. To check camber you do not need turntables. To check caster, the karts are usually marked on front plates. If an older kart turntables might be needed...never had one that old.
 
Kart needs to be level, whether on scales or on the ground, and driver in the seat before you try to check camber or caster, otherwise you wont get an accurate reading
