Help with Chassis Identification

Hi, my son ran this kart for his first year of racing this year and was super fast. Not 100% sure what it is but would like to know. I found these numbers on the LR axle mount and tried to get the best picture of the whole chassis. Has upper and lower heims on caster block, stationary rear axle mounts. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Try some better pictures . With maybe different angle and spindles.
10-4! It’s off to powder coat now but I grabbed this one as well, it doesn’t have original pedals or original spindles. Previous owner replaced them with rage spindles

No . Could very well be. cki .
Master cylinder that far forward is slightly unusual . That should give some clues . Id guess 2000 or so. But front end seems odd for that era.

I see, the numbers that I took a picture of almost seem like it could be an 04 but I have no clue. We were told it was a 2012 but nothing really points to that

Dual steering uprights and older style cassette holders tell me it's a 2000's. If I had to guess, I'd say it was a 2000s Infiniti, but unsure...I was more in the sprint world in that timeframe.

How do you get 04 from those numbers?
On another thread on here a guy had a CKI chassis and the first number was say, 3, and apparently it meant it was an 03? I was told it was a 2012 but there’s no evidence of that or atleast no one has chimed in on that. So I’m pretty much clueless haha

Ted is right the twin steering uprights , date it . as does the rear mounted breake caliper .
weight tabs were all but disappered as well in 2012 .
Looks pretty well taken care of . besides spindles mfg has little too do with parts interchange.

Its in very good shape which is making it hard to not keep using as a competitive option in our oldest sons class for the next season. Just would like to change out the front end to all matching brand spindles, L-blocks, etc. But the biggest reason why I was wondering about what brand chassis it was basically was deciding what brand we were going with that’s newer so we can just call up and get parts as we need them. Also what are you referring to as “weight tabs”?

For spindles you should be able to use pretty much anything modern (Slack/PMC, Phantom, DSE, etc). It's a dual heim front end so no need for L-blocks. Everything else on that kart should be 100% universal and can get from any kart shop.

As others mentioned, definitely not a 2012. All signs point to early 2000's chassis.

Thank you for the input, it’s greatly appreciated! We’ve been rocking Rage spindles and I think we’re upgrading to the newer tapered style as there’s a lot of people running Rage at our track. But it’s crazy to me that an early 2000s chassis is keeping up/sometimes faster than newer slacks. Makes it hard to pass it down to our youngest to run a jr class when it’s still very competitive!

Weight tabs are the little triangle shaped tabs on the left frame rail and other places .
Originally designed for adding weight . Current thinking is add too seat .
If its a 1 1/8 th the flexibility is probably the reason it works . generally more forgiving of tire selection .

Gotcha, we added it to that plate on the left and a ton on the seat as well. Makes sense about the chassis flexing as well because with just air pressure it’s wicked consistent
