Help with Chassis Identification

I was quite curious when I seen that plate you mentioned bolted to the left side, is that a steel plate and you're bolting lead to it?
(Edit) Assuming asphalt considering your profile pic, with that much cross, and that plate stiffening the Left side rails. Makes some sense why it works on Asphalt.

That plate was a life saver with the amount of lead we needed to use to meet our weight requirement! I’m not sure if it originally came on the kart but was there when we bought it. We do race on asphalt up here in Maine and it loved the amount of cross! This year was our first year with our son (9 yrs old) racing and I honestly threw lead wherever I could fit it and was keeping up with the fastest and sometimes he was the fastest.

rail layout looks identical to my momentum champ. Also grasping at straws to determine a year, bought it as a “2013” but it’s screaming 04-08 to me

We were told by the previous owners it was a 2012 and I never thought twice(neither did they) and they won multiple championships with it. Up until I stripped it down for powder coat I would’ve never known! These older karts still go pretty good though

Yes they do I sure wish I hadn't bent mine, I sure loved my momentum!
