Hemi or Non Hemi

Fixing to buy a motor for box stock class. What should I get? We have the 5500rpm rule. 350lb class.

Am I the only one who went out and bought one just to see what it was? Oddly, it got put back in the box and into the storage container...where it will most likely turn into a true ghost....

As for the original post...perhaps you should talk to someone who races at the track what they use. I'd suggest someone who wins though...just a thought.

They used to say one is better than the other but personally I like the non hemi more. I don't think there is enough of a difference performance wise that should lead you to one motor or the other. Just get whatever is in stock and you should be fine. Just my opinion. I have 100% confidence that I can win with a hemi or non hemi at my local track. Get a motor and focus on CHASSIS, TIRES, TIRES, and one more thing...TIRES

I cant say I have noticed one winning more than the other. That said, I can say that whoever won was perfect on tires and chassis that night. Without exception.
