Hilliard Clutch bearing race

Anyone have a problem trying to get the bearing race for a hilliard clutch to go on the crankshaft ?

Check that the end of the crankshaft isn't slightly flattened or mushroomed. If so, file the end until the lip is gone. Another thing I have seen happen is when the race over hangs the crankshaft, like it should for a 206, the bearing race can get a bulge in the middle from over tightening but that usually results in bearing/drum assembly being tight.
