Honda Gx390 Will not Rev up over Idle.

It did have alot wrong, including a blown head gasket, so i needed to take it apart.
Ill play with it next weekend more. Seems ok, but more to check.

On the power washers, all thats needed is 3400 rpm.
On the leaf blowers 3600 is needed, or more. I get 3650 on my gx270 easily.
How high can i get the gx390? Will that governor kick in at 3600? Be nice to get 3800rpm or so....for extra airflow.

Ive never messed with one but don't have any doubt it would . Tweeking the governor some .

Could be a warped head. May be related to the blown head gasket. Check on a table or with straight edge

The coil was backwards .
Not to say the head is perfect .

Looks like the ignition coil was installed backwards.

I Assumed it was correct because thats how i got it

Im thinking..........it was on backwards and i swapped coils same way...
