Hoosier tire prep

Looking for a prep program that works on Hoosier d30. I normally run on hard dry slick race tracks

Yeah Pink Panther is great on the natural rubber in the Hoos thats what Iam using lots of bite very little duro drop. He also has the Monster prep for dropping the duro and it works great on the Hoos also. Brian is a great guy to work with will help any way he can. D30s are pretty soft and on a hard track I like to run harder rubber if it not real sandy as has decent grip.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Black Sand works well on dusty tracks - just allow plenty of cure time for best results.

Your D30As come out of the wrapper at 50-52, so you haven't softened them at all. Look closely at your tire wear for proper durometer. A tire has to wear some - this is one way that it dissipates heat. A lot of graining or feathering is common when you are too soft on duro. If you need to harden them, get off of the softening preps and just use a conditioner and heat cycle them a few times (either in a hot box or with run time - scuff/sit.)

If you have any questions on the tires or our preps, please feel free to give us a call.
