New member
Looking to make a 4 tire hotbox was blessed today with sheet aluminum lots and angle aluminum as well looking for dimensions for it. Do not have one to get measurements off of, All kart stuff at sons so no tires to measure as well. Pretty much need height of tire and the length of a whole 4 tire set and I can allow for roller and such.

As for tire size, if you are only rolling slicks in the box, then 12" will be fine. Most right side kart tires will roll out around 34", but for sizing purposes, you may want to blow them up to 35 (or even larger) at times, so be sure to allow for that.

Now, the distance apart that your rollers are mounted will determine the overall height of the box as well. The wider the rollers are, the shorter the box can be made. Just be sure not to mount them too wide that your smallest LF tries to drop through it, or get stuck between the rollers. A box that is 16" tall is reasonable - but again, depends on where you mount your rollers.
