Hot Lap and Hot Lap II?

Always been curious about these two, never used either. Which does what as their info isn't very good. Which one did TrackTac mimic? Are they good preps compared to today's standards? I know they've been around a long time.
 
hot lap is the more expensive one , I assume its got better chemicals.
hot lap 2 and at 2 are similar in intended use.
adds bite and conditions tire . not real aggressive can use to cut other preps .
we used to mix hot lap2 and vmp naptha 50/ 50 for hot dry track right before going to grid , ( Becks Bad Fast )
I would say there used a lot , you may be buying it in a different can.
 
I feel like i remember Randy posting about one of those(HL or HL2) having one of the ingredients he got the patent for. I cant remember if they agreed to pay track tac some royalties to keep using it or if they said they would remove it. Maybe Randy or Chris will chime in.
 
I'm certainly hoping Randy chimes in, always a pleasure talking with him and his knowledge on the subject is second to none!
 
Hot lap Original is less aggressive than Hot lap 2. We have 2 products that are comparable, our HLO is comparable to Original and the AT-2 is comparable to HL2.
