Whats the difference between all the hotlap preps?

When and why to use? whats good to roll internal?

I may be way wrong on this so you may want to take it with a grain of salt... But hot lap 1&2 are pretty close, they will add bite but will also soften if you're not careful, hotlap 101 will add bite and soften the tire quite a bit, and pro bite will add bite with very little softening.

The only I've ever used and use very often is HL2=Mild bite, Mild softening and PB=Medium Bite, Slightly more softening.
