How do I find correct tire and rim size from a spindle?

I need help!

I just bought a ragged out go kart and am trying to get it running. The tires are to small for the kart. There was at least 2 bearings used as spacers so the nut could reach the tire. I don't know how to find the correct rim size. This is a yard kart if that helps. Thanks, Max

Yes . And a spacer may be involved . An exact fit may not be possible .
Okay thank you! I have been so lost what to do. I also thing the bearing size was wrong. It fit the middle of the wheel but was to big for the spindle. How would I get correct sizing for it. Thanks again, Max

You would need too measure the axle in the location of the bearing .
A stepped axle uses two different bearings .

Here are the sizes. It is not a stepped axel.

Back right 2 1/2" with threads 4"
Back left 4 3/4" with threads 6 1/2"
Front 3" with threads 4 1/2"

You need your diameter as well .
Ok so here's the situation you need to find your diameter .
Then , find wheels that fit your length dimensions .
As close as possible . Then adjust the difference with a spacer or washers .
There's no way to tell you what you need : only how to find what you need .
Exact fit is going to be nearly impossible .
Looks like 3 - 3.5 wheels and the left rear is quite different is it also the brake or drive wheel ?

The left rear is both brake and drive. I will find the diameter later today. I got to finish up what I am doing. Thanks for helping me.

Sounds like an old manco...
It is similar. It has no roll cage. It does have to bars bolted on the side and connected to an over head beam. This was its original condition
