Depends on the spindle slip - don't think about doing it unless you are absolutely sure. Its a little different for each one.

i hate to sound dumb but what is spindle slip?

too many acronyms for different things that confuse....you can advance your timing with the flywheel keys or get one of the adjustable flywheels (arc racing has one).

You can also advance timing with the coil.

Thanks folk I put a 4 degree flywheel key in figured I would start there it does not kick back on crank guess I will see how it performs any suggetions is greatly appreciated

We filed a standard key to advance it.....about 1/2 of the key. Really woke it up on the dyno.
