How many races till cam replacement

Post some pictures, close ups if possible. pitting, scuffing are signs of poor lubrication and rounded edges can be caused by to much lash adjustment.

Really all depends on the engine. I have several flatheads that have 30+ races on them that still have original cams that look as they did the day they were installed. Modified engines definitely show wear sooner. Careful inspection is the best deciding factor.

10.8 lbs red springs, racing pipe, racing carb and air filter with top plate are the only mods, plus its a stock lift cam and everything else
