How to id a 02 shadow kart

Looking at a kart guy says its a 05 shadow . How can I I'd it . Is there I'd stamping?

Many moons ago someone sold me a 2002 Shadow Storm and when I tore it down to thoroughly wipe down the frame, I saw the stamping indicate it was a 99 ZX1. Not a biggie because it was a solid kart for the area at the time. With that being said, I believe the stamping was on the the axel bearing hanger - brake side I believe on the inside part to where I had to take the axel out to see it. Yet, there is a part of me that says check the brake master cylinder mount. Sorry, the grey matter isn’t as good as it was. Anyway, it should help you narrow down where to look.
