The guy that sent it to me was a class mate of mine at the Picatinny Arsenal Toolmaker school in the early '60's, he also drove one of my early SBC powered Rails.
 
^ ditto. I guess I'm technology challenged.

On the other hand, I have friends who run CNC machines and pull down some decent dough who couldn't mill their initials out of a piece of billet without having code. :)
 
I've run both and find manual machining MUCH more satisfying, but it's a lot slower and harder to hold tolerances...I consider manual machining an artform, partially.
