With different bore/sleeve sizes and different strokes available, we can now get up to 500CCs with these industrial type engines. Here is the basic break down of the minimum weight to CC rules

Engine CC / Weight rules

450cc - 500cc... 450lbs

420cc - 449cc... 425lbs

390cc - 419cc... 400lbs

*** Calculating CC's Bore X Bore X Stroke X .7854 X 16.39 = Total engine CC's

*** All lead must be painted white with the number of the kart clearly written on it

*** All lead of 5lbs or less must be bolted on with a minimum 5/16 bolt and double nutted

*** All lead weighing more than 5lbs or double stacked 5lb pieces must be bolted on with a minimum 3/8 bolt and double nutted or use two 5/16 bolts and double nutted.

*** All safety equipment such as helmet, jacket, gloves, neck brace etc must be AKRA/NKA/WKA approved under current rules.

*** Minimum age to race is 18***

*** Previous UAS, Outlaw or Open racing experience is required to run in the I.O.S

*** We will operate under a No Re-Start policy. This means once you leave the grid and are on the racing surface you can not re-start your engine if it stalls. This is done to speed up the show and to keep these engines from running so long under caution laps.
***PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS POLICY***

*** If you have an on board starter that DOES NOT REQUIRE THE DRIVER TO LEAVE THE SEAT or HAVE OUTSIDE HELP, you will be able to restart your engine if it stalls or you are involved in a caution.
***PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS RULE COMPLETELY***

Rule changes and up dates will be made as needed to keep the series as fair and equal as possible.
