Intake manifold for GX270 with stock carb?

Hey!

I run a class with stock bore/stroke and carb gx270. I was told it could benefit me with a little intake, we were thinking of doing a few, like 2cm, 4cm, 6cm and 8cm, Was just wondering what sizes you think could benefit, and why?

Im not sure what you are increasing by 2,4,6,8cm. If you mean the "length" of the intake runner by making carb to head adapters in those lengths, it is generally considered long for top end, short for bottom. I do not believe you will see any difference what so ever, dyno or otherwise, with varying lengths of the sizes mentioned. With the stock carb, keep it to whatever length is convenient. No gains to be had here, in my opinion of course. Not worth the effort in this particular case. Good luck
