Is a factory manual helpful?

I just picked up an '06 Phenom for my son to run it purple plate. Our last chassis was a straight rail and everything was trial and error. Would buying a manual from PRC be helpful in anyone's opinion? They're cheap, so it's not the cost, just wondering if it will help with any set up at all.
 
Just want to say that I received the manual from PRC without delay. I had some problems reading it because of the printing, so I sent a quick email and they got right back to me and made it right.

THAT is customer service!!! Hard to find it sometimes these days.
