jackshaft question....

looking to hear opinions on the pro's/con's of a jackshaft with the belt/pulley type vs the chain/sprocket type.....Thx!

belt/pulley virtually maintenance and trouble free....chain/cog wear frequently, and fail while leading the feature.

And, not to mention, the chain will overheat because of the speed it is traveling at. Belt is the way to go.

I built a shield to keep pebbles out of the belt. They would poke holes in the belts.
