if you put a jack shaft on , use a belt drive primary . It may be better in the long run to buy another kart if you can afford it .

Make sure you check your rules, jackshafts are not always allowed in sprint stuff. For simplicity I would recommend just using the rocket mini sprockets and running inboard as would normally be done with a 206 on a sprint kart. Yes that means your sprockets are unique, but a lot less going on and a cleaner install.
