Anyone around South ga work on jawa engines? Engine spins over and is firing and getting fuel but won't start..
Unground your coil.
Dude hasn't been back since posting . Maybe this worked .Mount the coil so it is not grounded. The coil on most of the Jawa's is a 'closed loop' electrical connection and is the way you can kill the engine (by adding a wire with a switch to ground). A lot of people, when they buy a Jawa and mounting it on their karts, will add a wire to ground the coil, like most other coils, and then will have no spark. This is the way the Speedway riders hook up their 'deadman' switch in case they step off their bike during a race. Sorta backwards, but it works.
