Anyone around South ga work on jawa engines? Engine spins over and is firing and getting fuel but won't start..

I know nothing about Jawa's so out of curiosity please explain what you mean by unground your coil?
Do you mean make sure the kill switch isn't grounding the coil or do you mean mount the coil so it's not grounded?

Mount the coil so it is not grounded. The coil on most of the Jawa's is a 'closed loop' electrical connection and is the way you can kill the engine (by adding a wire with a switch to ground). A lot of people, when they buy a Jawa and mounting it on their karts, will add a wire to ground the coil, like most other coils, and then will have no spark. This is the way the Speedway riders hook up their 'deadman' switch in case they step off their bike during a race. Sorta backwards, but it works.

My rule of thumb; if the piston is going up and down, and there's compression, and air and fuel are going into the engine, and the spark plug is sparking, and it's sparking at the right time, and the valves are opening and closing at the correct time, it's got to run!
