Jones hotbox run off 3500 watt generator

Headed to the track tonight, going to be 50 degrees. Will Larry Jones hotbox work on a 3500 watt generator? I will hook it up later today. Just wondered if anybody had some experience with it. Just know the heating element probably uses quite a few amps.

I've run our jones box off the same size generator with no problems.

Grat Ty. Any advice on how much heat, how long before a heat race? New to warming tires at the track.

100* time varies depending on classes ran time between heats and all. the bigger thing is they are going to cool fast at 50* so you want to get them out as late as possible with out missing the grid. and air pressure setting. I'm not the tire guy so hopefully some one who is will enlighten us.

x2, if you set it afterwards they will go flat on you several laps in when they cool down, had a buddy do that lol
