L Ltg Member Nov 28, 2013 #5 Putting a clamp on it will stiffen the back of the kart quite a bit. I see this as a band aide to not having the kart working properly. When all else fails it can help sometimes but the kart will be faster if it can be made to work unclamped. Todd www.dynamicsofspeed.com
