Jr sportsman champ 1 set up

In the colder time of year our champ is off by 1.5 lap time.
In the jot summer months it's very good, works great always running up front.
What is a way to free up the chassis for the colder track surface.
Running a 1/5 mile asphalt track mostly

cool temps equals more grip so maybe more air less prep more left more cross ect...
