hey this may sound stupid but I'm just getting started in karting. When someone tells me to take a washer of cross out that would mean take a washer of cross off the bottom of the lf to the top correct? And in what situation should I take cross out or in?

Taking a washer of cross out means removing a washer from the bottom side of the left spindle and replacing it on the top side of the spindle.

Depends what kart you have, some older karts have C type spindles, and in that case you take a washer from the top and put it on bottom

Or taking a washer from the top of the right spindle and putting it on the bottom. Some change cross on the right front, others on the left front

To clarify: Do which ever is appropriate for your chasis to: move the right front tire UP or the left front tire DOWN. Take Care and Welcome to Bob's 4 cycle.....
