Just got an old go kart and I have a gx390 from a pressure washer that the pump went out. Would a noram star clutch be ok for playing on gravel and pavement ? It’s a 1 wheel wonder right now with an old 5hp I think. 3/4” shaft

Here’s one of the spray painted motor. Going to find a #35 chain tomorrow and then start getting stuff ready for the gx390 swap.

Here’s the motor. Just looked under the body and it says “bird automotive” and “dr pepper”

I’ll make sure it stops before it drives. I may hold off on the 390 until I can make both wheels have power. I do have some fab skills

Engines that come from pressure washers / generators / pumps etc usually have tapered pto shafts and won't accept a clutch . I've heard of adaptors for them but don't know from who. Good luck with your project .
