We will be running the event on the Newly Constructed @McGrew Bidworx at BAPS Motor Speedway, ..690 York Rd, York Haven, PA

For the first time ever, the Kart Klassic is coming to McGrewBid Motoplex on Saturday, October 5th, 2024! Get ready to hit the track on York County's first-ever 1/5-mile dirt micro racetrack!

Beginner Red,Jr I & Jr 2 Sprint,Flat Karts, Racers......An SFI Approved Chest protector along with Helmet

Reminder::: All steering and brake related bolts need to be safety wired,cotter key or wire clip....

Chassis and safety tech is based on WKA rules...They have the most complete rules for these two areas..IMHO....

All karts will need four (4) LEGIBLE numbers that are large enough to easily read from a distance,Front,Both sides & Rear...Rear number must be behind rear axle on Flat Kart and attached to rear cage on Champ Karts...The preferred location is attached to rear bumper on flat karts..

Weight/Ballast
ALL weight must be double-nutted or single nut and pinned thru the exposed threads of the bolt must protrude
approx ¼ inch after the jam nut on both options.. ( Double-Nutted does not have to be pinned )

A washer larger than the jam nuts goes between the weight
and the 1st nut on Both options...

.A nyloc or similar locking nut is recommended as the jam nut

.ALL weight/ballast attached to seats or similar materials MUST have a MINIMUM 1 -
3/8” inch OD fender style washer between the head of the bolt and seat or similar material....

5/16” bolts are the minimum size bolt when the Total weight is less than 7 Lbs....

3/8” bolt is the minimum bolt size if the Total weight is between 7 lbs and 15 Lbs...

NO Weight/Ballast over 15 Lbs on a single bolt..

Kart number on the top of EACH weight securely attached...

Weights are to be painted WHITE.

Fuel filter not allowed between the fuel pump and carburetor (ALL CLASSES)

All Fuel Connections are to have clip,wire tied or zip tie....

Air Filters can only filter from the sides of the filter. Air filters with an open end must
be taped over to prevent airflow from the end.( ALL Kart classes except Open & Yamaha )
 
*** Hobby class= Min rear gear 53....

Fuel sample will be obtained Saturday AM from Sheetz close to track,( 87 octane )....

Race Running order will be out Wednesday night
