Kart Stand Winch

I need to replace the winch on the old used kart stand I bought a while back. Wondering if the cheap one (2500 lbs. lifting capacity) at Harbor Frieght or Tractor Supply would be sufficient. Seems perfectly adequate, but didn't know if there was a reason to get a more powerful one that I was missing.

I use the harbor freight 2500, no prob. Tractor supply will be a lot higher in price ( to me tractor supply is high on everything ) and no better than the harbor freight one.

I’ve used one from H-B for a few years - no issues.

Get one with a hard wired control. The remote ones are cheap junk that will more than likely fail. Don't ask how i know.

Hardwired version from HF worked great for me too.
