Kart with a suspension

Bit of an odd question...but my son races at a local speedway, where they race pretty much custom karts (we have a plan book for a general design but there is a lot of leeway). a majority of these karts including my sons utilize adjustable front and rear shocks. My question is.....does this change how the kart should be scaled (front %, rear %, cross %)? I believe everything I'm reading on this forum is for karts with no suspensions (please correct me if I'm wrong) . Also any tips on aligning a custom kart? "Rules of thumb" are more then welcome

Yes it does .
The winged outlaw micro sprint section may be able to answer better .
Outrider had a post about this . I think its more about heights then % 's .
