KT100 leak down testing

Anyone care to share how they've put together a testing kit for KT100 leak down testing and what the testing procedure should be? I've heard 7 lbs of pressure for 7 min, 5 lbs of pressure for 5 min. Just curious to hear everyone else's experience.

Or is the experience...just put crank seals and base gaskets in it every 6 hours and don't worry about it!

Thanks,

I put a rubber expandable plug in the intake adapter and I believe the exhaust port also.
then used the pop off gauge to pressure it up . spray soapy water around the crank seal , leak was obvious.
we had an issue is the only reason I tested . confirmed my suspicion .

What flattop said... I used the expandable plugs for the intake and exhaust, plugged the pulse port and then used an adapter to pressurize the motor. 5# for 5 min is more than enough time to see if the motor is sealed.
