Some claim that the KT pumping turbulence is so bad that they don't run worse flipped than they do regular... unsure if that's true or not. Esp. in a modern context.
In my past experience, they ran the same either way.
I always looked at it a bit differently -- and assumed that the KT100 (in stock form) had an abundance of transfer capacity compared to the exhaust port.... and so was "exhaust port limited".
