Langley Speedway,winged champ karts.

My son will race there next year and need some info., where to buy a wing, minimum kart weight, gearing, tire air pressure and will the flathead be the motor of choice.

We ran a few years ago. Fun group, well run, good kart counts. My info might be dated and may get you lapped at this point, but IIRC min weight was 425, gearing was 18/65-67, tire pressures were in the 22 to 25lb range. 6.00s on the right side, 5.00s on the left side. 1-1/4" front stagger, 3/4" rear. Watch your rolling resistance big time. Back 2-3 years ago they wanted to keep flatheads because running Animals with plates would have been faster. Really want to keep speeds down.....remember there are big concrete walls around the place. But contact the club or call Langley's office to get them to point you to who to talk to.
