laser av2

I have a AV2 laser not sure what year it is but it has all the ajustments , i think it should be a competeve kart ! , i do not think that any new advances in dirt oval karts have been made ? but i do not get to the races as much anymore , looks to be a very good kart to me i am not sure what year it is i see no reason to go buy a new kart . any coments? thanks

Look on the left rear bearing hanger. Top digit is the year (9=99, 0=00, ect) next 3 is the chassis number.
 
Sorry for posting on someone else's thread Could someone send me a picture of a Laser AV2 chassis. I was told thats what i have, i can't find any numbers on it

They look similar but not the same. Note the location of the master cylinder & bottom of steering shaft. I'd say no.
 
I have a av2 also and was wondering where I could get part’s thanks for your help time

We are still running it. We have a small fleet we race (9 karts) & most recently my nephew was running it as a wedge kart. It is a really well balanced kart.

I replaced heims with 1/2" heim joints so I can run 1/2" king pins & newer style stepped RF spindle & heavy duty steering arms. Slack would have almost any part you would need.
