LF question

So I am just getting back into the sport. My question is how long can you go on the LF before replacement. I see people always selling sets of 3 so I am assuming you can go longer on it. Thanks in advance

Yes you can run the left front longer.
How long is a matter of opinion .
I believe it still an important tire and not inconsequential .

With a flat kart you could get 3-4 new LF and run a season I have heard.

With a champ using the LF more I would plan on more LF.

Same here and I know of others on 4 yr old LF, I'd say on avg the LF is good for 4 sets of rights.

Same here. DXC. Can't find a good reason to disgard it.

I probably mount at least 50 sets of tires a year and typically do about 4 new left fronts.

i was surprised to see how much wear my LF actually has, once i got a tire resurfacer i can see the cross hatch wearing away

Our LF for Maxxis is over 2 years old and just starting to really be worn. Our Vega LF is 3 years old and also just starting to show heavy wear. Both have TONS of races on them as they were used when we got them! lol. Now right side Maxxis is a whole nother story... just killed a new set this past Saturday running 2 heats and 2 features but we dominated a 10 kart field all weekend
