If you're wanting to know where peak HP is, it'll be around 52-5600 rpm depending on how the engine is set up (valve lash, ignition timing, carb tune, etc.)
Now, if you want to know what peak rpm to turn at your track...
that depends on the track configuration and how much rpm drop you see in the corners.
Ie, big momentum tracks with little rpm drop (500 or less) you will likely want to stay off the rev limiter.
Tighter tracks where you scrub >500 rpm, you will gear to hit the rev limiter.
There are some sprint courses where you're on the limiter 1/2 to 3/4 of the longest straight.
There is no one size fits all.
Your Mychron is your best friend for gearing.
A stopwatch never lies...If it's faster on the watch, it's faster on the track.
