Short term fix is to clean the are of the leak and then apply some gasket sealer. Using a little tape one can make a pretty clean looking patch. You may want to check with your local tech man as to their interpretation of this as it is not something stated in the rules that you can do so therefore, technically, you cant. However, I know of many inspectors, myslef included, who allow this as a temporary solution. However, the reality is, the situation is going to get worse and you will likely need a short block sooner rather than later.
