LO206 spec sheet from Briggs.

I have factory boxed LO206 engines with build sheet showing pop up at -1, +2, etc. I assume - number is below deck and the + number above deck. Can anyone confirm that. Tks
 
If it is marked on the lower left front of the block, that's the pop-up. That number written in sharpie has been accurate 100% of the time I've pulled the head and checked them. It will match the number on the spec sheet as well. You are correct in your assumption (+-).
